This event was a development of a project started in Brazil called Jazzmoda, where McLean and Josiel Konrad took jazz music and art activities to a class of teenage children for the day and interviewed them about how this affected their creativity and productivity and group cohesion. It is a vibrant and unique experience for students: a visual lesson by Flora McLean and music from the Josiel Konrad Quartet, which aims to inspire students to consider art as a positive activity for their lives and even as an option for their careers; showing the art itself in connection with the design / fashion and jazz; inspiring many impulsive and improvised designs and experiences. The experimental process, called jazz music does not need to be understood and can be interpreted as just sounds, as vibrations that spread in the air, forming sound waves that are picked up by the auditory system, and then transformed into electrical impulses that travel through our neurons to the brain. There, they come first to a region where emotions and feelings are processed, and before being perceived by the centers involved in reasoning, there is the release of neurotransmitters responsible for letting the mind, imagination and verbal communication and body feel more sharp and inspired.
