de Leon, Nick, Coutts, Nicholas and Stone, Neal, 2014, Printed Publication, Business to Business Strategy: B2B 3.0 - Make it Meaningful for Business
Abstract or Description: | The future growth of this major technology manufacturer (name redacted) depends on not only its success in the B2C or business to consumer markets, but also in the business to business market which represents today only a very modest component of its overall business. The company’s Corporate Design Centre HQ asked Nick de Leon to lead a study that would help them create relevant value propositions based on integrated product service systems (PSS) as well as develop the distribution channels and eco-system of partners to take these solutions to six company-specified market segments. The key deliverable from the study was an 81-page Business to Business Strategy Document that was distributed to the heads of the operating divisions, along with a presentation to the main, combined boards of the company. Following on from the study and the report, the company has deployed many of the recommendations both in terms of new solutions, and organisational development. |
