With the restructuring of the labour force, those previously outside the circle of employment are increasingly brought into value production. The Dead - United! uses costumes, props, text, movement and music to create a revolutionary danse macabre, a distributed theatre from the grave. Continuing our exploration of labour, we are interested in class decomposition, in the dead as fossil fuel matter, as a dormant, revolutionary force waiting to be awoken. Through graveyard whispers carried on the wind, this performance presents the dead as the infinitely employed and addresses the contemporary conditions of exploitation and resistance.
