Abstract or Description: | Your Bay, My Bay, Our bay focused on conducting two placemaking workshops with children aged 6 - 11yrs residing in Winstanley Estate. It aimed to engage children through interactive sessions to express their vision for their neighbourhood streets. These workshops empowered the children to explore the things/activities they wished were there to make the streets more playful, fun and accessible. This workshop focused on creating awareness among children to be active citizens of the community thus impacting the ecosystem that revolves around children, including parents, caregivers, their peers, educators and local communities. |
