Dutson, Claudia, 2019, Show, Exhibition or Event, The Model Worker
Abstract or Description: | The Model Worker is a VR installation immersing the visitor into a replica of a real architectural space: the Silicon Valley Campus – a typology of architecture where over 2500 workers sit in a single 'non-hierarchical' space to – it is claimed – increase collaboration and serendipitous connections. The visitors can freely walk around the entire building, inviting them to question the myths a company tells about itself, its management culture and its working practices. |
