Additional Information: | The Radical Matter Lab was a teaching tool/resource to help establish the complexities of connecting contemporary philosophy (discursive, postmodern, continental), fine art practice (from traditional disciplines to digital/electronic media), and the 'wild sciences' (quantum physics, meta-mathematics, uncertainty, complexity, fractal geometry). Meet every two weeks during 2017-2018 from Nov - Mar. The Radical Matter Lab grew out of earlier pedagogical experiments rolled out at Slade (2012), The Birmingham School of Art (2012-2016) and at RCA (2017-present) under the general heading of 'untimely meditations'. A sample course outline is also uploaded. |
