Miller, Claire, 2024, Dataset, An exploration of the opportunities and challenges of bringing a 'soft' textile design approach into engagement with practitioners from science and engineering disciplines
Abstract or Description: | This dataset comprises a series of nine semi-structured interviews conducted during an embedded research residency undertaken by the author at Imperial College London (ICL) during 2020. Interviewees are textile designers, scientists and engineers who were involved, in some capacity, in the collaboration between the Royal College of Art Textile Design Department and the ICL as part of the EPSRC funded FAIR-SPACE project. The intention of the interviews was to engage participants from across the broader collaboration to gain further insight into smart textile research domains, which is the focus of the authors PhD research. |
