The institute for the magical effect of actually giving a shit (a note to our future self) was commissioned by Studio Voltaire as part of the redevelopment of their gallery, studio and other public spaces. The artwork presents the public toilets as an artwork, using bespoke glazed ceramic tiles to establish an aesthetic approach distinct from the design vocabularies proposed within the overall architectural approach. .
