Two workshops focussing on community-led pedagogy in relation to interdisciplinary live project assessments, that were run in January in NYC and in Oxford in February 2014. The workshops focussed on the long-term effect of projects after occupancy; the interaction between students and community members; the risks & responsibility borne by each party and strategies for rewarding success in terms of both community impact and student learning. The ideas put forward informed an assessment benchmarking 'toolbox' - as a means to inform Higher Education Institutions about what kind of community impact Schools should be rewarding in relation to student behaviours.
