Abstract or Description: | Commissioned text and hand collage for exhibition and publication. The project is a response to the 1971 Superstudio 'Twelve Cautionary Tales for Christmas'. The proposal explores the speculative nature of cities that feed off and produce wealth out of an increasingly precarious existence and the liquid capital coming out of real-estate and property. The design experiments with the idea of a floating city that would be extraterritorial, outside the boundaries of specific governance or finance resulting in a new architecture of machinic assemblage. |
