| Abstract or Description: | This project was a pathfinder collaboration between the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design (HHCD) at London’s Royal College of Art and smartphone technology company OnePlus. The overall aim of the project was to open up visionary thinking, new design directions, and opportunity areas for OnePlus around the theme of ‘Resilience’with the following key objectives. - Explore the meaning of ‘Resilience’ for the OnePlus brand and next generation smartphone technologies - Apply the design frameworks of The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design to develop inclusive and creatively leading products, services and experiences - Co-create people-centred design concepts and prototypes that expand the market reach and business impact of OnePlus. The outcomes presented in this report were developed and co-create by a team of six HHCD design researchers and alumni and four RCA students during a six-day design sprint delivered over two weeks. |
