  • Looking through objects: Women in contemporary Polish design

Amadei, Gian Luca and Jacobson-Cielecka, Agnieszka, 2022, Show, Exhibition or Event, Looking through objects: Women in contemporary Polish design

Abstract or Description:

The narrative of the exhibition “Looking Through Objects” focuses on women, contemporary Polish designers. The starting point is the curatorial selection of objects that allow us to look at the changes taking place in Poland. The presented objects belong to various categories: from serial, industrial products to unique collectors’ items. The attitudes of the designers are also diverse – from pragmatic order fulfilment to artistic, intuitive search for creative freedom.
