Conference and workshop at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, 3 – 5 June 2011 funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. The aim was to bring together artist practitioners, researchers and others at the forefront of the textile art world to examine and discuss how rapidly changing technologies and attitudes have affected their work and teaching, and to catalyze a series of collaborative art, research, and pedagogical endeavors.
